new to dronelink

work in AG...nearly exclusively center pivot irrigation...am looking to drone link for mission execution that will move from the outside edge of the pivot and then scroll in towards the center of the pivot w/ the gimbal @ 90, 80 and 50 degrees for each of the 3 circles ...have a Mavic2 Enterprise Advanced (w/ smart controller) and the IR is pivotal to the determination of moisture...based on a cursory review of dronelink it appears that the application is web based... following my building of the mission (on line) I assume i download the missionĀ  to my SD card which then gets inserted into the smart controller and executed identical to a native dji waypoint mission...do I have that correct??? and if so I would need to purchase the 'premium' product to achieve this...do I have this correct as well???

    work in AG

If you are using Dronelink for work, you need one of the business plans.

I assume i download the missionĀ  to my SD card which then gets inserted into the smart controller

You design your mission plans in the web, yes, but then the Smart Controller (SC) must be connected to the network for those plans to be downloaded in the Dronelink native app. If you intend to use the SC offline, read more.

executed identical to a native dji waypoint mission

By default, Dronelink uses virtual stick, but you can convert your mission to DJI waypoints if you prefer to upload waypoints to the drone, but there are pros and cons to doing so. One of the big pros for the SC is that it is a woefully underpowered device, so running onboard gets around that.

before purchasing let me make sure i have what you've said correct

    1. family farm business w/ fields located in remote areas that have no / marginal cell reception so will be offline
    2. the 'dronelink native app' sits where? (on my drone, smart controller, both, or is it a component of the online software that will be accessed to download from the web to my smart controller)
    3. it appears that the 'dronelink native app' is wanting to be loaded to my SC....but not entirely clear on how to do that...but then haven't read all the articles on dronelink
    4. does the online dronelink web page have tools to draw paths for various geographic layouts

my apologizes for being such a 'lead-head' but the product looks very promising but want to know what I am purchasing (features / functions) to achieve what I need to do...much appreciation for direction you can offer

The Dronelink native app for the SC is an Android app that you install directly (APK).

The Dronelink web-based mission planner has many features that help you create paths, including importing KML files. We have a 30 day free refund policy so there is really no risk in trying it out to get all of your questions answered.
