Mini 2, Mini SE, and Air 2S Support + Android 12
Hey everyone!
Happy to announce that the latest Android beta (build 183) now has support for the Mini 2, Mini SE, and Air 2S. Unfortunately, DJI has not released an update to the iOS SDK (nor have they given a timeline), so these drones are Android only right now. Also, the SDK has several bugs in the DJI SDK which prevent the following functionality:
- Velocity-based rotation for the gimbal (such as interpolating between two markers on a path with different gimbal pitches) on the Air 2S
- Airdata integration (DJI changed the flight log format again).
This build also corrects the issues users were having with Android 12 (if you still see issues with Android 12, please provide feedback).

João Marques I put the Ortho quality reports here so you can see the same exact mission flown by the Mini2 as well as the Air2S. I have not looked at these in detail yet, from the automation perespective, Dronelink at least did everything asked of it with the two drones.

Tony Simek thank you so much for the reports / flight plans. very very useful for my research for the Air2S!
Regarding the DroneLink Tier / Plan, what do you got?
Jim McAndrew Is it possible with the Elite Plan to do the mapping like the example above? I don't need the Terrain Follow option, nor processing. Just auto missions flights.
Thank you.
JM
João Marques I started by buying a Hobbyist Elite, then when I figured out some use cases for commercial I also got a Business Growth account. If you pay yearly, it's not so crazy for a small shop like me. I don't really have the volume to require an enterprise account, and Growth is a nice balance of features.
Yes, just not terrain follow.
Tony Simek once again, thank you so much.
Jim McAndrew fantastic, and btw is it possible to mapping a corridor type? (road for example).
João Marques My pleasure! I cannot wait to try some more automated missions with the Air2S, and now even the Mini!
No, but you can submit a feature request.
Just for a quick update, i bought the air2s and already done a few test auto flights (small areas ofc) and everything went smooth.
Jim McAndrew The only thing that didnt work good was the 'pause' / 'restart' button, the drone won't restart the mission and stay hovering where i paused it in the first place.
Fantastic app android, but in the PC it gets slow as soon you try to do some bigger areas (above 50ha / 123acre).
Please post a bug report with a screen recording and a link to your mission plan.
Split your mission plan into smaller missions.
The iOS beta (3.3.1, build 189) now has support for the Air 2S, Mini 2, and Mini SE (with limitations).
Congratulations Jim! Huge responsiveness from Dronelink on being rihgt there after DJI finally releases SDK updates. Dronelink for the win!!
Thanks! Just FYI, you may have to select "previous builds" in TestFlight because we are also actively testing the next beta as well (3.4.0), which doesn't have the DJI SDK 4.16 merged yet.
I read there were Serious Issues with the DJI SDK a day ago and already up. DL continues to impress and I’m sure IOS users will be happy. I’m curious to see the difference compared to Android device usage and those issues. Hopefully DJI didn’t rush it too much.
