Mini 2, Mini SE, Air 2S Support Limitations

  • Updated

Review these important release notes about some limitations with recently added support for the Mini 2, Mini SE, and Air 2S.

Make sure to be on the latest DJI drone firmware, as there are bugs in older firmware versions that have been fixed!

1. Multiple Engagements Unavailable (Air 2S / iOS ONLY)

This issue is only for the Air 2S on iOS!

Once you start a mission or a mode, you cannot resume that mission or start a new mission without first disconnecting and reconnecting the remote controller. This is due to a bug with the DJI SDK. Once DJI patches this bug we will update Dronelink.

The following message will display in the Dronelink app.

2. Some Flight Dashboard Camera Menus Force Terminate Dronelink App

The Dronelink app may force terminate when using certain camera settings directly in the flight dashboard. For example, changing the video resolution is not possible. Dronelink recommends changing camera settings directly in the DJI Fly app, or using automated camera commands.

Dronelink is investigating possible solutions.

3. Flight Dashboard Overlays Unavailable (Mini 2 / Air 2S / iOS ONLY)

This issue is only for the Mini 2 and Air 2S on iOS!

Tapping the flight dashboard to access the focus target, exposure metering target, and histogram controls does not work on the Mini 2 or the Air 2S on iOS.

Dronelink is investigating possible solutions.
