Configuration of a MAP flight (as "expert") not possible as described in the training video - options need upgrade - althought it should be "basic" according video
Dear all,
I bought my first drone (mini 4 pro) and dronelink yesterday. Though all my questions may be stupid, but I´m struggling.
My use case:
I want to make a 3D map of my territory which is at a bigger hill (700 m of altitude). Therefore I wanted to set the parameters according this official training video - this was by the way my reason to buy Dronelink. And two times I got the request to update to an really expensive mode (for me as a private user needing this only 1-3 times a year)

The following was stated
There are multiple mapping plan levels (Basic, Advanced, and Expert). If your plan type does not support the feature you need, you will be prompted to upgrade.

To be sure that everything works I bought the expert version.
Now I saw that I cannot change the speed of the drone as well as to "grid" as recommended for a 3D map. To go for that options I now would have to go for an expensive update.
Can anyone support how to do this without an upgrade?

It sounds like there may be a language or translation issue. We don’t currently have an Expert plan - maybe you are referring to the Elite plan? In that case, the expert mapping features are not part of the Elite plan, as listed here: https://app.dronelink.com/pricing/hobbyist/compare

This is the video and in the intro on the page was described that it only uses basic features (and in the video speed and grid mode was adapted) which now seem to be offered only on elite mode.
In dronelink I´m shown with "expert"
For me the video is misleading as it did not mention that some ELITE options are required. And based on that video I did my purchase.

It’s very clear on which features are included in each Hobbyist plan when you compare them. Expert mapping is not included with any Hobbyist plan. If there is no checkmark next to the feature then it’s not included. https://app.dronelink.com/pricing/hobbyist/compare. Good luck.

I think the conversation goes in the wrong direction. As I mentioned the software seems to be great and I want to use it.
My hint was, that in the way the description on the page sounds and the the video about "Basic Mapping" looks like, I had the impression that already the basic version would be sufficient to do all I want.
Now I understood that my Premium version will not be sufficient although it includes already the "3D Planer". What will I need to be able to use the grid option and to define the speed of the drone?
As mentioned I´m looking for a solution to solve my problem of making a good 3D map of a terrain at a hill. Accuracy of 0.1 to 0.5 m (or something like that) would be sufficient.
Hope you can give me some hints what is the best approach.

Hi Hans, I should think you'll be able to do what you want with the elite plan(as long as not for professional purposes)
