I found the link, paid my money, and downloaded. I made a simple mission with orbits and still photos (default), loaded up the software on my OnePlus7T android (64-bit), my MA2, and .... what a flawless flight! Everything just worked. I'll run it through some paces this week and hopefully can help provide beta feedback.
i have paid for the premium package and downloaded the software onto my ipad how do i get the beta software it says i need an invite ? i use a mavic air 2 drone
Hi Jim, I have the Android version of the app, I define a mission in the dronelink site for my MA2, but if I select the Mavic Air 2 (48Mp) Map mission I only get a 12Mpix photo.I can't find the setting you reported in the previous post, am I wrong? Thanks for your help.
Hi, I have try a MAP PATH with MA2, I have create a new mission and insert the "New Component -> Camera Photo Type" as indicated in the Jim post with a minimum capture interval of 4 seconds, but nothing, I obtain only 12 Mpix photo (4000x2250 pix). I don't know if is something of wrong in my settings. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks a lot. Denis
Hello. The photos with 48MP of MA2 are made by software, and require a time of processing, which I don't believe is possible during mapping missions. I think I...
At this point the MA2 loses its value for aerophotoggrametry, because if we have to use it at 12Mp we might as well use the Phantom 4.I made several photogrammetries and 3D models with manual flights with the MA2 set at 48Mp, the difference in final performance in the models is embarrassing to say the least compared to that of a Phantom 4, it is a pity that DJI for commercial purposes has castrated this splendid drone.Jim, is there any vain possibility that the MA2 will perform mapping missions at 48Mp in the near future, or is the matter definitively closed? If there are no possibilities, I must seriously consider switching to Autel EVO.Thanks.Denis
thank you so much! You anticipated and answered my next question.I wanted to ask exactly if it was possible to implement this solution. Then there is still hope! Thanks so much for your work !!!!
I hope you will be able to implement this function soon, because there are really many MA2 owners who have been waiting for a long time to be able to use it in the workplace.Obviously the delays are not attributable to you, but to DJI.However, it is a drone with great potential that it would be important to be able to exploit.Thanks.

Haven't tested it yet, but I made a mission using paths in a circular formation with markers along the path, with each marker taking a 48mp photo, then pausing for 5 seconds. Would that work?
Great minds think alike, lol, before I went to bed I did just that, with destination, just added the achieved component to 'camera start capture' and achievement time to 5 sec. Just woke up and tested, and it worked as desired. Thank You...
Hello Alexander, Is possible for you to make a little tutorial step by step on how to set this mission? I need to make a 48Mpix mapping, and I have tried to follow your suggestions without success. I'm sure I skip some steps.

137 (beta) is now available on Google Play.
I have run a test with the 137 beta on a Huawei P30. I did a grid map mission, and all worked perfectly.
I'm not able to take pictures in 48MP mode, will that be available in the future?
You have to do this:

Thank you very much Jim.
I hope to test better with my Xiaomi Note 10. Unfortunately, the weather is always bad here

Hi Denis, I did find this setting; add a 'new component' to your plan and search for 'Camera Photo Type'. Then select High Definition.
I haven't found the time to test it though...
Hi Mike,
thanks a lot for your help, now all is clear :-)

You cannot take 48MP photos while in interval photo mode (DJI limitation).
Is there a way to fly a map without interval mode? So, probably at a slow speed (for processing the HD pictures), and with fixed photo locations?
Not yet.

Triggered capture in maps in on our roadmap but we don't have it prioritized at the moment.

The beta is opt-in:
https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033520874-How-do-I-install-the-beta-native-app-

Update...
After reading another post, the drone doesnt pause at markers, so this wouldn't work. Back to the drawing board...
That's too bad, the idea was good though.
I only have the Mapper license, so these components are not available for me.
If you want to take pictures while pausing, you can use destination components. Use the Photos on-the-fly function to see an example.

Waiting for the snow to stop to be able to test, but this should work. Then I'll create the map using the same technique...

Denis
(1) set up the camera like in picture 1 ( the beginning of your plan)
(2) set up each DESTINATION with the settings shown in pic 2 and 3
(a) achievement time is 5 sec
(b) speed is 5 mph
(c) adjust the gimble pitch to desired amount
(d) and set the achieved component to 'camera start capture'
(3) I used the map function just to get the route, and once I placed all the destinations, I removed the map
Best Regards
