Mini 3 - Mapping with Samsung A9+ ?
Hi all,
I'm wanting to run mapping missions with my Mini 3 but need to buy an affordable android tablet to do this with - any recommendations?
I'm currently looking at a Samsung A9+ (8GB RAM) - would this do the trick or have people generally had issues with this device?
I couldn't see any mention of it in the Google doc I've seen linked in other threads (although it looks like it hasn't been updated in a while)
Also, is DroneLink for the Mini 3 still in beta testing?
Thank you :)

That looks like it is 6 years old so I would not take a chance with older hardware device. The Device should be one which has been released with the last year, maybe two at most. The Mini 3’s have been in production for some time. You should download only from the DL download center.

Hi Mike,
I think there has been some confusion - I'm talking about the Tab A9+ (not the A9 smartphone).
As an aside, would the trend be that a currently adequate device would no longer work well with the Mini 3 via DL after another couple of years?
Ok. It said A9 so yes, completely different. As new as the Tab A9 is it should work good. There is no way to know how it will work in two or more years though.
I've recently upgraded from using a tab 7FE(still works fine with Dronelink), to a tab 9FE+ in conjunction with my mini 2 for mapping etc, only tall reason I upgraded it's the 9 has a slightly brighter screen
