Dji Mini 3 and Android OnePlus 7 : crashed
Hi,
I have a DJI Mini 3 and and Android Oneplus 7 (GM1900).
I've installed the specific Dronelink app (version 4.9.2), directly from the site.I plug the phone with the RC Command, start it. Then the phone propose me the choice between :
- DJI Fly (not started)
- DroneLink (I've forced stopped it)
- DroneLink DJI (this specific version 4.9.2)
All is opened, connected to dronelink site. I can load the maps.
At the moment I start the drone and when the two connect, the app crashed. I just have the time to see that connection is working. I've taken a Premium plan, it would be nice for me not to have wasted 60€.

You need to use a much better and even newer device as explained in the first FAQ in their help section. If you don’t then you will more than like have a bad user experience or it won’t work. If you don’t have a better, newer device then you can request a refund so you didn’t waste money. I’d suggest spending some time looking though the DL help section which as a lot of information. Also it isn’t in Beta, it’s a production version. Make sure it is the Dronelink DJI app, not Dronelink as you mentioned you forced closed it which isn’t even needed. Good luck.

A OnePlus 7 is already old? The App is supposed to be compatible with Android 5.0+ (Lollipop) , my device was not even on this system when I got it (it is now on Android 12).
I've looked on the download section, I'm using DroneLink DJI, that's why I say that I've forced closed as suggested by the place you're suggesting to read... may be you should read it.

"Do you have DJI GO, DJI Fly, or 3rd-party flight app running in the background?
My device is not listed in the compatible or incompatible device, but when I see that S22 can be incompatible, I have to say that it is still a beta. For me this app is equivalent to an alpha version as it crashed as soon as the app is connected to the drone.
Sorry for the way I answer, but if the first answer is "old device and refund", I don't like it, even more from someone who is not reading what I've writen : I've given the version and the name !
Patrick, Mike is one of the most active and helpful users on this forum and I believe he is genuinely trying to assist you. We would never immediately recommend a refund before trying to help you, but his point is you haven’t wasted your money because, in the end, if we can’t resolve the issue you will get your money back.
As for your device, yes, a 5 year old device is probably going to result in a less than optimal user experience and is considered old, but I doubt the age of the device is what is causing the issue.
If you open the app first and then connect the drone, does it only crash once the drone is connected? If so, do you live in France?
Strange, I thought I had answered.
Sorry for the message, it was rude to me to have an answer about something I've written in my text and asking why I forced quit as it is suggested in the link given. If I've offended anyone, I'm sorry.
My device is old but the OnePlus Nord N200 that have medium performance (2021) have a lower performance chip. And I'm on Android 12 that is supported (min Android 5)
Now, what I've tested:
And yes, I live in France. Is it crashing only in France? The crash occur at different place in France, even in place with no restriction.
It was information about a possible bad user experience and that your money wasn’t wasted and you could request a refund. Simple Sir. The links were for more info which may have helped. Since you are in France it’s more than likely why and I’m sure Jim can assist further or you can search for more info regarding this issue in a France. I’m not sending a link for obvious reasons. Enjoy. 🙏🏼
Thanks, I hope to solve this strange problem.
