Is the Mini 3 Pro out of beta?

Ozy

I've been dormant for a while while DJI took forever for SDK fixes, but today, I woke up to an email from DroneLink stating:

"The Mini 3 / Mini 3 Pro with the RC-N1 and Android mobile device is now fully supported."

Does this mean the M3Pro is out of beta entirely?  I tried looking for the main thread to see if the info was posted there, but I could not find it.

Hi Ozy. The app crashes were fixed awhile ago even with the a beta version and has been working well There are a couple threads which advised it is out of Beta now. The Mini 3 link doesn’t say Beta anymore as well so make sure you still follow the instructions and download the latest APK from the DL link. As it says you still cannot download from the Google store it must be directly from DL. Update it and you’re set.

Fantastic!  I had given up since DJI was so slow, and this is wonderful news!  Now I can finally learn the product.  I have not bought an Enterprise drone yet, so this is all I had to learn with.

As you probably already know there are a lot of DL help articles and tutorials to assist you. If any questions on setting up any plan or something you can’t find an answer for after searching here just ask and someone can help further. DL is such a powerful app with so many functions and features it will take time to learn much of it. Good luck and enjoy.

I looked at the official download page for the released version of the mini 3 pro and it didn't mention one way or another if the Samsung s21 is still not compatible with the new out of beta version. Can anyone give official information on this please

That is from a long time ago when it was first released so best to try it and see. There are other DL help articles which are old as well but there are so many that it takes time to go through them all and keep them all up to date. If it connects and the live feed works then you’re good to go. I fairly sure both the pixel 6 and 7 work now so give it a try.

Im curious - what are the bugs that are preventing dronelink with M3P support from being release on the playstore?

The controller doesn’t have the playstore on it, so you just install the APK directly.

Sorry I misread the post. So Dronelink for the M3P with the RC-N1 controller can now be downloaded from the playstore?

Sorry I thought you were asking about the Mavic 3. The for the Mini 3 (pro) with RC-N1, you also just install the APK directly on the mobile device. The last we checked, DJI MSKDKv5 required a lower minimum android SDK than the playstore allows.

That’s unfortunate. For those of us using company phones that are locked down, and don’t allow third party apps, are we euchered?

Not sure what that means, but probably.
