DJI Mini 3 beta release...
Hi everyone this is my very first post and I have a couple of questions, I've been surfing this forum for a while looking for more info about the mini 3 release. my first question is, if I download the present dronelink apk to beta test the software, do I need to used a new one or the present apk will be the same ( sorry for the dumb question, I'm a newbie on software stuff ).
And of course the second one is, any idea when the non beta apk will be release, i've been waiting for a while and I'm dying to try this thing but don't want to risk the drone with a unfinish product. Thanks in advance.

Hi Gerald. Really no more risk whether using Beta or Production version as it is the same app. Any bugs I’ve ever seen have never effected the drones ability to be flown safely. You should always keep the app up to date so go to the link and download the APK to make sure it is the newest version. DL doesn’t usually give out releases dates but If not already out of Beta with the newest release of 4.9.0 then DL has indicated it will be fairly soon. Any questions which can’t be found in their help articles or by doing a search here in the forum can be answered by other pilots as well as DL staff. Good luck.

Hey Gerald,
We just moved the Mini 3 + RC-N1 with an Android mobile device out of beta, so you can follow the standard process process to download the correct app from www.dronelink.com/download
As always, make sure you got the latest drone firmware.

I figured it was coming so great to hear for those Mini 3 users. 👍🏼 I went ahead and added this threads link to that very long 259 comments, 9 months old thread. Maybe it will help so this doesn’t get asked in the future. Fingers crossed.
Hello from Greece. I was using a mini 3 for almost 6 months with beta (dronelink dji). Should i use the production app (dronelink)? It works?
Nikos Benakis, you need Dronelink DJI for the mini3, I think it is out of Beta now, you can tell by looking in the bottom right hand corner of the home screen of the app, if its still the beta version, there will be a little purple ribbon that says beta, I'm Jim McAndrew can confirm the present position
Martin is correct about being out of Beta. It’s been awhile now but it will need to be downloaded directly from DL, not the play store from the link as explained above. I’ll add it here as well. Remember to go through the DL help section for additional help. You can also look over all the tutorial videos thread for a lot of great videos here in the forum. Enjoy.

Thanks a lot for your rabbit response. Tommorow morning i ve planned i flight about 200 km from my house.I have downloaded the 4.9.1 (290) version dronelink dji apk . Can you tell me please if i will be able to fly with my Mini 3?
