Why does this feel like DJI is just trolling everyone and doesn't care because they want us to buy their enterprise stuff? You'd think that now that the M4P is out, they'd "fix" this one.

Use an Android 12 device, and it works fine. Android 13 is crash-happy still until DJI fixes the A13 bug. You could also buy an RC-Pro controller as its not in beta for that configuration.
