Are you sure you've downloaded and installed Dronelink DJI (this is the version for the mini 3 series of drones)
Hi Martin, Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, searching for the DJI version, I find 4.8.2 (277) Kernel 4.8.1 in the Play Store which I installed and have tried on both the devices listed, but no luck so far after multiple reinstalls, reboots, etc...
As Martin stated it is the “Dronelink DJI” version, not Dronelink. Different app for the Mini 3’s which is still Beta so needs to be download from DL site and you must join Beta. Click on link and follow the instructions. Also an additional link for more information.

Following both of your advice, I downloaded directly from the DL website and installed ver. 4.8.3 (2280) Kernel 4.8.1. on my S20FE phone, but after pairing my drone, Dashboard is still displayed, not the drone model. Even though I get two confirmation beeps and the drone battery status lights return to normal, my drone is not paired with DL.
I also loaded the APK file to my Samsung Tab 6 and show a slightly different version of 4.8.3 (280) Kernel 4.8.1, which keeps crashing.
Message " Something went wrong with Dronelink DJI
Dronelink DJI closed because this app has a bug.
Try updating this app after it's deveprovides a fix for this error."
I Uninstalled the APK and tried again, same result.
Did you grant all permissions and force close the DJI app. It must be force closed in the devices apps and notification settings. Swiping up does not actually force close the app and if it’s still running in the background it will not connect because only one app can be connected ant a time. 90% of the time it’s one or both which need to be done. Also some devices may not work and there are way too many manufactures of devices which use Android OS it’s impossible to know which ones will. DL recommends a device released within the last year or maybe two to work. Check the link for additional help

Thanks Mike. Yes, I've confirmed all 8 steps as completed per the link that we both posted. Since I had used DuckDuckGo for the APK download, I uninstalled DL again and re-downloaded it using Firefox as per the 2nd link showed the 4 supported browsers, lo and behold, it worked! My S20FE appears to recognize my drone, the Tab 6 tablet, not so much. I tried the same procedure as on the phone, but the same bug message appears again, so looks like I can't use my tablet for DL flights. Thanks for the assistance.
Firefox has been tested to be the best browser when using DL Web app so good that your using it. Any further assistance like setting up plans with different components, functions, settings etc, just ask. Depending on what plan you have there can be so many functions and features it is a lot to understand at first. DL is a very powerful app and it will take to learn everything it has to offer. They have great support and there are many pilots here which help a lot. Enjoy…..
Appreciate the offer, might need to take you up on it. Will be flying mainly in Northern AZ if the winds ever die down!
J. Wilcox good to hear you are up and running, as Mike (Arizona Wyldwest) says if you need any help then just shout
Thanks Martin. Guess I'll need to find a contact for subscription help next. I signed up for the Premium Hobbyist plan, authorized bank acct payment via Stripe and in trying to sign up, I get a message, "Unable to find pricing for this plan". Same message for the basic. Frustrating......
Not sure if they accept payment with that. Best to use a credit card.
Puzzling as bank account transfer is offered as a payment option. I followed the instructions, hoping to get access to start mapping flights, but no dice.

Also, the beta crashing issue is discussed here: https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/23739673227027
Bringing this full circle, I was notified today via email that my debit payment posted on Dec 8th, but I didn't have my DL app access until today. Case closed.
