same here
Same here. I just thought this update was already publicly available.
4.2 beta isn’t going up until the M3E and M30 support is ready.
Allright I'll keep an eye out.
Good luck !
Just to be clear, 4.2 is focused on adding support for those new drones. We have made no changes regarding this issue as we still can't reproduce it.
Yes Jim, I get that and can't blame anyone for it. I'm just hoping a new release could have any chance at all of magically fixing my issue haha.
Maybe a factory reset of the phone and then using a backup, I'll try that next. - have a nice weekend
Jumping in on this - and took the steps that Yente H was given. Permissions are granted, everything up to date (except not in Beta) Mavic Mini and Google Pixel 6a (Dronelink previously worked on Pixel 5) but I'm also unable to see live video feed. On occasion there is a small blip of imagery but then straight back to black again... Video feed works in DJI Fly.
Just a suggestion and will take no more time. You may already do this way but Start the DJI Fly app and let it completely load as usual. Once everything is up and running as usual and ready to go, force close DJI and then open DL. Can’t hurt to try. Seems like everything else has been tried.
I think the DJI SDK just doesn't work for this particular device for some reason. Reported it to DJI.
Thanks for the updates - I'll give it a try a little later today. Appreciate the quick responses! Jim McAndrew are you referring to the Pixel 6a or to Mavic Mini in this case?
Ah - didn't want to start a new thread as OP seemed to be having the exact issue as me.
I'm using a Pixel 6a and original Mavic Mini.
@Mike (Arizona Wyldwest) tried the force stop on Fly > open Dronelink to no avail. Video blipped on for appx 2 sec then back to black... Thanks for your help and Jim McAndrew
🤙🏼
DJI has acknowledged that this is a bug on their end and has not given a timeline for fixing it. If you don't want to wait: refund.
Thanks Jim McAndrew. I'll hang on to my subscription as there is still plenty of functionality in the programmed flights that I don't need the live feed. Will take a little tweaking of gimbal angles but I'll figure it out and either they fix their bug or eventually I'll have a new drone. :)
Randy maybe another option in the meantime is to get a cheap second hand android device to fly with, I carry an old LG V50 as a stand by device, just connect it to the mobile hotspot on my main phone to access missions etc
Thanks Martin Reading, I do actually have my Pixel 1 available and it works but the battery life is horrendous (comparatively) so it's frustrating to use. Been awhile since I opened it up to see if the updated apps even run on it but worth a shot...
I have the same problem, only with the samsung A53. It granted permissions to everything, it works on DJI FLY perfect. But the camera on Dronelink looks black. I have tried all apps, 32 - 64 Bit, Beta, etc. The truth is frustration.
