Gimbal speed for reveal shot

John Kress

I only care from path action 3 through 7. I want to start with gimbal at -90 looking down at water edge of sandbar for about 50 yards. At path action 4 I want the gimbal to "slowly" raise to POI 1 and hold that until path action 7. When I arrive at path action 4 the gimbal slams up quickly. How can I make the gimbal slow and smooth and gracefully? Is this what gimbal roll is?

I think I shared this correct.

The newer DL version allows waypoint functions but I’m so used to using markers I stick with them on most plans. Being able to slide them along the path at the proper location for the desired look you want with the interpolation works great. A ton of ways to set up a plan and after almost two years I’m still learning stuff. Enjoy…

That's the joy of a forum like this, being able to chuck a problem around and learn from others, on a video software forum I used to frequent, my signature reads "I can always learn"

Ok, this was good except for some stuttering because I didn't use 60fps.

But the others missions only half finished. I would have done them all except I am hovering in one place trying to figure how the app interface is. I'm mystified by repositories. It looks like a file system and I see file in each, yet their are many others that clog up the view. When you work on one I kept having the others updated even if I changed the name. Why can't it be a simple folder tree, with files in each. I find this extremely confusing. And when you finish a mission how do you switch to another mission, I can't see how to get the missions tree back without having to land. Then there's the app screen going invisible so you have to switch back to it. Maybe I should give litchi a try again, I do own it too. UGG!!! Oh, I forgot to mention the freeking glare. I've tried those phone and tablet shades on the controller, they all suck! I'm going to have to make a black curtain to droop over my head and controller. Or maybe a sombrero would do the trick!

John Kress, all is explained in the link below, I've got 33 in all as I use them to organise plans by area, for instance I've got one for all my plans that are down by the River Thames, then I've got another one for checking out problems on other folks plans
