Dronelink Dji mini3, app completely useless now

Andrei Nicoara
Hi! Everytime I try to start a mapping project the drone loses control and tries crashing into the ground. Project starts, drone starts spinning, then descends untill crash. Manual control works fine, Dji app works fine

Does this also happen when offline?

Are you sure you're using the right version, for the mini 3 it should be called Dronelink DJI

Offline as in disabling mobile data before starting mission? If I don't have access to satellite imagery I can't design the missions, so I'm guessing I should make mission available offline, then connect drone, then turn off data. I've tried with just making mission available offline and it doesn't work. The drone starts spinning randomly and then it either tries to dive into ghe ground or the app crashes. First time this happened the drone crashed, but luckily it was a sunflower field and there was no damage, but if I don't pause the missing I can literally lose the drone, which seems like a huge issue to me. On manual control the altitude, position and ghimbal angle are correct

As I said, I did download for offline use and the drone just kept spinning aimlessly on previous attempts. I had these issues in places with good data coverage. Last attempt was today in a place where the internet was good. I will try again with download for offline use but I don't think that's the issue

Yes, when the new version came out. I also changed my phone. I can test it with the old phone but I don't have the old dronelink version. Old phone is Xiaomi x12. Did 3 or 4 mapping missions and no problems. New phone is oukitel wp 60: Display

I tested it on the old phone and the mapping missions work perfectly, so it's the phone. Will be keeping that phone for mapping. Thanks for the replies!
