Challenged Internet Connectivity

Near duplicate post is in 'Comments' on one of the Youtube tutorials.

Brand new hobbyist here, so please forgive DSQ as they may appear. I have reviewed posts that appear somewhat similar to my concern. However, 'Replies' to such posts, inclusive of links to tutorials intended to answer the question posited have not fully clarified the issue for me. I intend to use the Dronelink software with a Mavic Mini for waypoint missions and search capability provided by the mapping functionality. Primary location for these waypoint missions is a relatively remote area of Michigan's upper peninsula, where we are challenged, at best, to receive internet signal. Sooooo, I want to verify a couple of things before I plunk down my 40 bucks. As I understand it, I can create planned missions on my computer when I do have internet capability. Once saved, these missions will automatically be resident in the Dronelink app on my mobile device (Samsung Galaxy S9+). At that point, I need only power up the drone from my planned take off location in the remote area, select the desired mission to be flown, select "Play" and the software will carry out the mission autonomously, returning to "Home" upon completion. Is that all correct? Secondarily, due to the double whammy of flying in an area of heavy duty, tall, tree cover with wi-fi connectivity (not to mention wind issues), chances are the native DJI software and firmware will attempt to abort a mission and "RTH." I want to verify that I will be able to override that manually (as I dare) and continue the mission as able. Is that also accurate? Please advise of any part of these two equations that I failed to address or on which I am way off base. Thanks much. Jim Manley
