The ArcGIS API failed to load.
Got this error when tried to create my first mission. I am using a MAC computer with OS High Sierra and the latest javascript. Is this a bug or did I not setup something correctly?

After more testing I discovered it works fine in Windows 10 in Parallels Desktop so I tried it in the Safari browser on the MAC and found it works fine there too, but fails in Google Chrome.
Sounds similar to this issue:

I had the same issue with chrome on windows and I just switched to Microsoft Edge. Works like a charm
Same problem, I use Window Pro 7 and Chrome.
Update 16 Nov.: I fixed error by re install Video Card of PC
Did you adjust your browser's cross site tracking setting?
New user (today!) here. Same problem with Win 10 and Chrome; was able to work around using Edge instead, as Tawanda suggests above.
I don't have "Do not track" turned on in (Chrome) settings, which is the closest I could find to cross-site tracking. I explicitly disabled uBlock Origin, in case that was mucking around with stuff.
Easy to work around, just...unnerving...for a new user right out of the box. Thanks for making great software!
Encountered this again today... Had disabled hardware acceleration in Google Chrome. When I put it back, the problem went away.
Thanks for the heads up.
Trying to alter a mission and the "The ArcGIS API failed to load" appears, Macbook pro M1........ Safari browser, Privacy setting correctly set. Just when you need to correct something before heading out flying and now had to cancel :(
Did you try a different browser?
I have now, Firefox and working but my preferred browser is Safari and it has been working fine even up to earlier this morning, so not a real solution, just a work around. Thanks for the suggestion :)
** Just tried again and all is working ok??
No obvious problems like internet link and other than using Firefox and then back to Safari no changes made. Odd??
I have the same problem as Michael mentions above with Safari on MacBook Pro with Ventura. It worked all along very well until very recently. It's stuck on "loading..." yet no obvious issues with my Internet connection or anything. When trying in Chrome it works ... very odd and very strange. Once in a while it works then stuck again...
Clear all the cache, browsing history, etc. This happens on occasions with all browsers. I’d suggest using Firefox as it will work best compared to the other three which are supported. This happens to me using Firefox every now and then and clearing everything gets it fixed. Not much DL can do.

Many thanks Mike. Clear cache worked. I've still installed Firefox and did a number of tests and compared with Chrome and Safari using DL. Indeed a very noticeable difference in speed especially for complex maps in 3D planer.
Hans Haerdtle. Yeah, just best to stick with Firefox. Good to hear it’s working now.
