Hi all,

I installed the native app on my dji controller but once opened it doesn't not connect to the drone. I have no issue with DJI go 4 app.

Did you grant all the permissions the app asked for when you installed it?

Sorry just realized you said the V2. I don't think DJI SDK supports this for any third party apps:

Might have to edit you compatibility list. I found a workaround though.
    Thanks

Our list states V1 no? What was the work-around?

Check your list. P4p v2 is in there. I have yet had time to test the workaround but once I do and if successful, I will post it here.

The V2 is supported, but not the "plus" version with the DJI monitor. The DJI monitors page only lists the V1 as supported:

ok the workaround doesn't fully function.

I tried it with a mapping of a property.

It connects to the drone and starts the flight fine but when it comes to taking photos it stops. There is an issue controlling the camera. It's a real shame. looks like I have to look for other solutions.

    Thank you for your help

Hi, I really liked the possibilities for the mapping component. But I am struggeling with the exact same problem and drone type. Is there any news on the workaround? Thanks a lot!

I managed to connect with the drone. I will try a flight soon and can tell if it worked if it is interesting for someone. :)

Assuming you already tried everything listed in this thread, not sure - TreeNoire never posted the steps.

    Sure.

    - download and save the APK for Phantom 4, which you posted in the FAQ (https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025829973-How-do-I-install-the-native-app-on-DJI-monitors-).

    - install the Dronelink-APP with the windows command prompt on your laptop and type: "(the name of the drive where you saved the APK):\ADB\adb install -r (name of the APK).apk" without pushing ENTER

-Connect the DJI remote control to the laptop with a USB cable and push ENTER

    - now you can open Dronelink on your control and login with your account

-to finally connect your drone you need to stop the DJI Go App. Go to your settings, find the DJI Go App and force it to stop. When you open Dronelink now it can connect to your drone.

I am not a native english speaker, but I hope you can understand. I will try to fly my planned route soon to see if everything works. Thanks for providing with your App, it was hard to find a suitable one for Android systems!

I'm struggling with your workaround.  I'm stuck on the cmd.  I'm assuming I need to set up android platform tools and do something to get ADB recognized?

Hi. You want to install it on the fixed remote controller of Phantom 4 pro +?

I kind of copied my command. It is still dependent on where you saved the APK of DroneLink (https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025829973-How-do-I-install-the-native-app-on-DJI-monitors-)

Since DroneLink already provided a APK, i think you do not need to transform a ADB. "ADB" is just the name of my folder in  my cmd, because i saved other ADB in this folder to convert.

    Maybe you can try this:

(the name of the drive where you saved the APK):\adb install -r (name of the APK).apk

Yeah I have the P4P pro + with the builtin screen.  Can run the app can't connect drone.  I'm still getting a The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect error.

    C:\Users\bmurthy>C:\Users\bmurthy\Downloads:\adb install -r app-prod-arm64-v8a-release.apk

    Hi!

Maybe you can try to save the DroneLink-apk in annother folder than downloads? The remote control is properly connected and switched on?

Also I did go for the apk in the last section "Phantom 4 Advanced / Pro V1 Screen", --> https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MCygVSxIDDNnLxEw778ckxScI_8ov_at/view

    So try this:

    - download the apk: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MCygVSxIDDNnLxEw778ckxScI_8ov_at/view

    - save the apk in "C" and in an new folder named "APK"

    - open the command prompt and type:

    C:\APK\adb install -r app-prod-armeabi-v7a-release.apk          without pushing enter

-Connect the DJI remote control to the laptop with a USB cable and push ENTER

Is it working now? Also there are some videos on youtube for installing Apps on the P4P pro + with the builtin screen, maybe that will help you?

All the best for you :)
