P4 Multispectral and Dronelink
Hi,
I'm spending already 2 days to try to have Dronelink work with my DJI Phantom 4 Multispectral.
I import a KML with RTK positions, and I'd like simply my P4 Multispectral to follow the RTK Waypoints.
Is this possible? Being a programmer I can also try to try some tests, or workarounds... but at the moment I've to positive results. I upgraded from Starter to Growth, and still I'm not able to have a simple RTK flight from a 10 waypoints working.
Can you please help me? If it's not possible, can somebody post here some alternatives?
Thank you!
P.S. No, the RTK menu is not present in P4-multispectral, see screenshots here: https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/17744760455827-When-did-P4RTK-s-RTK-feature-work

Just a thought but are you using the correct flavor DL mobile app. The P4 and the M3 use a different version so you should have two DL apps. “Dronelink” for the P4 and “Dronelink DJI” for the M3.
mmm, if I search "Dronelink" in the App Store for iOS (iPad or iPhone) I can find only one, that is called "Dronelink Flight", and not two... strange!
Anyway, the drone is recognised as P4 multispectral, but... no luck to make RTK work. Any ideas/workarounds? Should I move to UgCS?
Thank you for the reply, but... I cannot find the 2nd app, I think that "Dronelink Flight" is the correct one, as it's on their website.
The different version is Android only, due to DJI not releasing an APK for apple devices
Ok. Sounds like you have the correct app from the Apple App Store. My point was in reference to your other post where you asked the same question and attached a screenshot. You didn’t say what device you were using and since the Mavic 3E can only be used with an Android device I assumed you were using the same device with the P4. DL may need to assist further.
Dronelink only supports RTK settings for the newer drones like the M3E.
Thank you Jim... I'm sorry, I really liked Dronelink...
So... should I ask for a refund (how?) or are there some hopes that there is a workaround that I can try (even if not officially supported?)
You can try setting it up in DJI GO first and seeing if the settings stick, or: https://www.dronelink.com/refund

it is a problem because the P4 uses a different radio control system than the MAVIC.
DJI Pilot is free, you download it from the DJI website.
