As far as your question about which Android devices to buy, you can look at this crowdsourced spreadsheet on some of the Android devices which other pilots have used and their results. Just be aware some of those devices other pilots listed as a low performance aren’t. The Mini 3’s app crashes while in Beta had nothing to do with the devices performance capabilities. Also a link to the DL system requirements needed to get a good user experience with DL app. Hope that helps.
