Following and focussing controller/cellphone while repeating a mission path
Hello, closed repeating waypoint missions like flying a big 8 multiple times.
If this repeating waypoint mission path could follow me and also like described in https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360051482134-New-type-of-POI?page=1#community_comment_25195954047379 could focus me would be nice.
In addition there could be a option while the drone is following it could constantly maintain its relative ground height, or the relative height to the controller/cellphone.
Follow me videos are much more interesting if there is also a relative movement. Full orbits while following would be nice but also more complex movements would create more interesting video. Following me with a half orbit could also already be a start.

But can't you do this already by using the joysticks while in follow mode, just because you're in follow doesn't mean the done needs to be focused on you
With the joystick yes, but driving a bike or hiking with controller in hands, climbing or kayaking would be nicer automated.
As for the relative to ground it already has that capability when following. Just go through the setup process and select it. Works without any issues. Also you should look at the Focus On the Fly mode and see if that may work. Link showing the settings for the Follow Mode

Big thanks. Then the main feature request would be circular waypoint missions and making these missions path follow the controller/cellphone while you move.
I don’t see this feature also on any other app. You always need the sticks to manage the follow me while you are moving.
Autopilot had it (one of the previous apps I created), so it is possible, it just isn’t prioritized right now.
I understand Seb. Just answering your question on relative to ground feature. Enjoy.
Mike, I note from your reply that in follow me mode you can set “relative to ground”. Is this the same as relative to controller? Only reason I ask is that in follow me at say 10m altitude if you enter a cutting the controller could be 15m lower than the ground level. So starting level 10m should end up at 25m from controller where the ground rises to 15m above the controller.
Hi Julian. Relative to ground means the drones altitude relative to the ground. The controller has nothing to do with the altitude of the drone. Also the drone actually follows the devices GPS, not the controller so it must be a device which has internal GPS. So simply put, if you set the drone at an altitude of 10m it will fly at roughly 10m above ground regardless if you go up or down in elevation based on the devices GPS. You can enable joysticks as explained in the help article which I always do because it gives you more control of the drones functions. Pay attention to the minimum distance when setting it up which is at 30’. If distance is set close to you the drone may act erratic. Check out the help article as well as many other articles in DL’s help section. Hope that helps.

Mike, many thanks. Crystal clear!
Are you talking about the Altitude Tracking input in follow mode? If so, it means that it will adjust the altitude of the drone to be relative to the altitude changes of your mobile device (assuming your device can detect altitude changes).
