Classic layout is gone in 4.8.2?

Updated to 4.8.2 android app and the classic menu is gone?

The old classic dashboard was removed quite awhile ago. Only modern dashboard now.
I was using 4.8.0 and it was still there. It was so smooth and perfect, why remove it?
DL would need to explain why but I’m guessing it wasn’t worth maintaining the old UI compared to all the work they have put into the Modern UI. It has been out for I believe over a year and tested to work so it was just a matter time before they removed the old UI. I believe most have been using the modern UI without issues. What do you mean by the old UI being so smooth ?
As Mike (Arizona Wyldwest) said the old UI has been gone ages, personally I can't remember the last time used it, as the new UI is so clean and easy to navigate
4.8.0 is not that old.
Anyway, i always prefer the classic ui (simple, clean and smooth), yes the redesign ui looks good but why not keep both versions?

Anyway i was using the 4.7.1 version (so yes i 'very old' build).
Gonna use tomorrow the new 4.8.2, and hope everything works ok.
Sorry My mistake. That version is a few months old. Regardless of version the modern UI was released in October with version 4.1.0 and has a lot more features and settings so over a year ago. Just like with anything else most don’t like change but it’s just something that needed to be done as explained in the link and you will get used to it just like riding a bike. Enjoy.
