Donelink and Android S23

David Thiede

Will Dronelink work with a Samsung S23?  I would like to purchase a commercial license, but I don't see the S23 listed.

Thanks,

Dave

You can check if it will work before purchasing. The onc link has information on which devices will or may have issues. The S23 may work so follow the instructions and test it. If it connects and has live video feed and the confetti looks smooth then should be all good. They also have a short period to test and if not satisfied you can get a refund within 14 days. All these links should get you up and running and if any other questions there are a ton of help articles you can look through. Be aware of the app crashes which will happen with the Mini 3 and have been already discussed extensively. Good luck.

    Hi Mike,

I went to dronelink.com/dowload on my S23 and clicked on the Mini 3 pro, and the RC-N1 controller. I clicked on the download tab and what was downloaded was:    app-prod-dji-release-beta(1).apk.  When I look through my apps, I do not see one from dronelink, just the DJI Fly app.  Should I have clicked on the Mini 3(beta) tab instead?

    Thanks,

    Dave

You have to click on the filed downloaded to install it - downloading is only the first step.

Once it is installed you should see it in the list of apps.

    Barry,

It worked this time. I had to re-download the file for some reason.  I have the app on my phone screen and ran the confetti test. It looked smooth to me.  I think I will get one of the Hobby accounts to fully test it out first, and if all looks well, I will convert to one of the Professional accounts.

    Thanks for your help.

    Dave

David Thiede, just be aware that hobbyist plans and professional plans are billed differently, the hobbyist plans are a one off payment (can upgrade between the hobbyist plans by paying the difference between plan levels), the professional plans are billed monthly/annually and you can't upgrade from hobbyist to professional
