Diable RTH after mission finished

Johannes Schmidtmeier

Hello dear Dronelink Community,

I've been using Dronelink for a few weeks now, mainly to take pictures on our construction site which I then want to compile into a time-lapse. I have a few questions regarding this:

I want to take the pictures from different perspectives, which is why I've created a separate mission for each perspective. I always load my missions from the "history". Are there other ways to load the missions? I'm concerned that the history might get deleted at some point, which would essentially ruin my time-lapse, so I want to be sure about this.

After the drone has completed its mission, meaning it has taken that one picture, it always immediately starts its "Return to home". However, I'd prefer if the drone remains in the exact position after taking the picture so I can, for instance, take photos with different exposures, which I can then compile into an HDR (especially cool at sunset).

Is there a way to turn off the return to home feature for this purpose?

Greetings from germany

Johannes

When you view a mission in history at the bottom right there is a save as button, just click on that and save the mission in a repository of your choice, then next time you want to fly the mission, just select it from the repository, to answer the other part of your question, when you save the mission, go into mission settings and change the action on finish to none

The plans you create and the missions you have run won’t be deleted. They are all kept on the cloud and I have never lost anything over three years. There is no way to delete your actual flown mission so you should not have any problem. I still have my original missions from November of 2020 so even if I deleted the actual original plan in the Web app I can still access any older flown missions and save it and run again.

Here is a link which explains how DL keeps all plans and flown missions synchronized. As long as you are logged in the Web app or Native app it’s all done automatically and within seconds. Rest assured you will not lose anything.
