Hi Nathan, are you using the correct version of Dronelink for the mini3, the correct version is called Dronelink - DJI. rather than just Dronelink, if you go here https://www.dronelink.com/download you'll get directed to the correct version
The RFID is something with DJI software or drone so I’d contact them. First you should check to make sure you are using the most current firmware on both along with the lasted DJI Fly version. The Telemetry Unavailable usually means not a good GPS lock. Take a look at the link for some more info.

Thought my app was wrong as the newly download has BETA in the corner, but that did not fix the problem.

Hi guys!
I started by following Martin's advice and followed the link to get the proper dronelink app. I now have it because there is now BETA in the corner of the screen. It still says drone disconnected. It connected once but then gave me the telemetry unavailable. I even tried different locations to rule out GPS signal problems. Then I followed Jim, and made sure that everything else is the correct version. Still no luck...
Saying beta is not enough, it needs to be Dronelink DJI.

Sorry about the delay guys, I somehow missed your replies. But yes, I've followed Martin's link to get the correct app. My app looks just as Martin's does. Still no luck. By the way, I am using the DJI RC-N1 with an iPhone to control the drone.
Oh dear oh dear Nathan. It's clearly stated that Dronelink DJI app is Android only. As the DJI MSDKv5 software layer only supporting Android mobile devices or DJI RC Pro controller. iOS? Sorry 😐

I'm must be a special kind of dumb, since I'm stuck on Step 1:
Where is the "RC Pro browser"? I've been all over the controller that came with my DJI Mini 3 Pro, and can not find any Browser or means to enter a URL.
I watched the Video and they have Firefox! I don't have firefox on my controller.
How is anyone doing this?
The instructions say to Kill DJI Fly, by going to Settings "Apps & Notifications".

Hi Max. You will need to download Firefox first. DL can only be downloaded once you have done this. Then follow the instructions. I’m sure a quick internet search for on how to install Firefox on that controller will give you a ton of them.
I looked up that controller and it says it has a built in browser already. If so just open it and do a search for Firefox you should be able to download from there. If you can’t find it then another way is to download the Firefox APK using a PC or laptop then transfer it to an SD card. Then load from the SD card in the controller and go from there.

Yeah, that appears to be correct.
Can I just take a moment to lament that DJI's product naming is so very unkind to someone not steeped in their product line and nomenclature? First it was Goggles V2 vs Goggles 2, now I can't even begin to tell you the name of the controller-came-with-Mini3Pro vs controller-came-with-Air3 vs whatever it is Dronelink supports. It all sucks.
But are people really buying a USD $1100 DJI RC Pro to control their Mini 3 Pro with Dronelink? That's a bit.. over the top.

Max_P. Yeah, Not that many are using the RC Pro because of the price. They have either a phone or tablet which is less expensive. The standard controller for the Mini 3’s is the RC-N1. I got a new one about a year or so ago on eBay for $75 for my MA2 so not expense. The new Air 3 uses the newer RC-N2 which is what I bought with my Air 3 since I use it with my iPad 11 Pro. Large screen is great. At least this way you can use any Android device as long as it has modern hardware to be powerful enough to run DL.
Yeah,never seen what's so great about the controllers like the RC Pro,with such a small screen, I use RC-N1 with a galaxy tab 7FE the majority of the time for flying my Mini2

@Martin that RC controller $1,200 for a small screen to me is not worth it.ill stick with the controller my Air 2s brung and a tablet.i get good distance with that controller to.
Okay, next question.. how about this DJI Mini 4 Pro with this RC-N2 controller?
Max_P maybe in about a years time, that's about the normal time after launch that they add a drone to the sdk, but I wouldn't hold your breath😂😂
Max_P thnx for asking. However due to the character of your question you really don't understand the software architecture with DJI product portfolio.
To access the controls of any DJI drone there's a need of a open software layer. DJI allows that over a mechanism called SDK (software developers kit). DJI hasn't released that on Mini 4 yet. (If ever IMO).
You can learn about all this (MSDK) at DJI website developer.dji.com
However the Mini 4 Pro natively support waypoint missions with DJI Fly app. That's a good thing anyway. Cheers and thanks for asking.
Indeed, very little of DJI's product portfolio makes sense to me.
Does the SDK apply to the RC-N1 -> RC-N2, or will it be a firmware update to the Mini 4 Pro?
I thought because the app runs on Android, which attaches to the N1 or N2, maybe it is portable between transmitters. I'll await updates from DJI, then. Figure about a month before Mini 5 Pro is introduced? :)
