Dronelink 4.7.0 and DJI mini 3 pro with RC-N1 - no connection between App and Drone : error "DJI SDK Initialization"

Marc Mertens

Hello,

This morning the Dronelink App asked to install the new version of the App (4.7.0 (266)).

I did install the app and I now the drone cannot connect. I got an orange color warning "DJI SDK Initialization".

With the DJI Fly app everything is ok.

Would be great if it was possible to redownload a previous version of the app.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards

PS : I have a DJI Mini 3 Pro + RC-N1.

Tried two phones, Pixel 5 and Pixel 7 Pro with same result: press play to start the mission, drone takes off into higher and then the message "unable to take control" and no further action. I tried multiple missions too with same result.

Oops. You're right. In my defense, someone else was flying the work drone before me!

Should be part of pre flight checks 😉

Mission currently being flown. Previous oversight on my behalf notwithstanding, despite the frequent app crashes, the DJI SDK Initializing error has not reappeared. Thanks for fixing it!

I am having similar problems connecting to my DJI Mini 3 Pro + RC-N1. I am using a Samsung Galaxy A54 with a good internet connection, I first tried it yesterday and it connected fine, so I set up a waypoint mission on the web, but today when I wanted to try the mission I get a orange box pop up with "initializing DJI SDK" and no connection. This is with Dronelink DJI version 4.7.1 (269) kernel 470. I don't have DJI Fly App installed and I have tried re-installing the Dronelink app and re-starting the phone. I then tried it with my old Samsung Galaxy S7 with the same version of the Dronelink App and it connected fine, but it's too slow to run a mission, hence the upgrade.

Allright, you solved the issue with the latest update : Full support Mini 3 series + RC-N1

A drone mapping on field worked seamlessly without any crash ! (~1 hour run)

    Congrats

(I am Elite now but If in your pricing you offer the possibility to capture HD images for a one-time purchase, I am interested)
