Mini 3 Pro - DJI RC-N1 - Pixel 6 Pro - Android Dronelink DJI 4.6.0 (259)

Decided to give the beta a whirl with my Pixel 6 Pro and it loads video feed loads fine.  Tested a mapping mission and only issues I had was the app closing, stopping the drone in the air and the mission.  The RC connection was still active so I was able to open the app back up and load the mission and resume and it seemed fine, however it back tracked maybe 4-5 photos.  This happened 2 or 3 times during the approximately 20 minute mission.

I'm going to go out again later today and try again after restarting the phone and making sure nothing else is running on the phone since that may have had an impact on the app crashing.

I don't think running other apps much affects the app crashes.  Many of us long time DJI'rs routinely shut down all other apps before every flight. That is what I always do & it still crashes (Pixel 7 Pro) . DJI just have to fix their SDK I Suppose.   The backtrack post crash is by design apparently.  It sets save points while running  every x seconds and it restarts from the most recent. Seems like a pretty good idea to me.

I was out again and still had the crashing issue, which I'm chalking up to the beta since I had restarted the phone before the mission.  The back tracking is fine, wasn't complaining about it just noting what was happening.  I figured out a work around for the crashing, which was to pause and resume the mission after every row of mapping images, which seemed to prevent it from crashing since I was able to finish the mission without it crashing by doing that.  The crashing seemed to occur after a period of time of running a mission continuously and pausing and resuming offered a way to work around that.

Since I didn't include it in the previous post, the version of Android I'm running on the Pixel 6 Pro is Android 13, build TQ2A.230505.002.

If there's a way to provide logs or other relevant information that could help, please let me know and I'm happy retrieve and provide those as necessary.

I really like the idea of Pausing and Resuming - nice workaround for the time being !

Which paid account do I need to be able to use the mini 3 pro beta?

U're totally entitled to download and install DL DJI Beta app freely. However if you want to activate mission planning, waypoint etc as defined in the price/functionality plan then pick the most useful one.

Which plan would be suitable for using the full orbit mode with full camera functionality?

Thanks for that, I’ve gone with the professional plan. However when I turn in the drone the camera feed is black and I have the error of +1 telemetry unavailable with no readouts from the drone such as signal strength etc. I’m using a pixel 7 pro. Any ideas?
