Continuous Video Capture Through Multiple Components
In Dronelink, video capture stops at the end of each component. I would like to continue video capture seamlessly through multiple programmed components. For instance I'd like to start video recording at the beginning of a 'destination', and then continue through an 'approach' and then an 'orbit' without stopping or restarting video capture. Seems like there has to be a way. Can anyone help?

Hi Jim and Martin,
Thank you very much, I have managed to master both techniques, you have been very very helpful to this new comer.
My apologies to you both, I continued to fiddle with the example that I sent you the link for not realising that it would be changing the details that you were seeing.
Now to consider which method is good for me, I do like the idea of lists, the computer is the tool for repeating stuff. Do I need the camera commands list or is it simpler to just have a list of components (waypoint, orbit etc) to customise for each mission?
Nick, it's really up to you how you do it, that's the beauty of Dronelink, many different ways of doing the same thing, for example do you save the list as component in a repository for future use (easier to share with others), or do you copy it to the clipboard and use from there, or do you do both.
Lists can have many uses, and don't forget you can insert lists into lists
Hi Jim and Martin, I have managed to get the continuous video in the plan, now that I have run the mission a couple of times first time it missed the centre of interest, I adjusted it and tried again. The outcome was a little better but it's difficult as the house in the country is new and not on the planning map.
My question today is even though the video is continuous from start to finish the actual video is chopped into two. Seven minutes and another of 50 seconds. Is there a limit to the video time that can be set or extended. The first try I set the speed too low so there were three sections of video a couple of seven minutes long and whatever the rest under seven minutes.
thanks in advance.
There is a limit to the file sizes so they are automatically split. They can easily be joined later and this is a DJI thing, not a DL thing
Nick as Barry says this is a file size limit, which is dictated by the FAT32 file system that SD cards use, if you take a look at the 7 minute long file in file explorer you'll find it is about 4GB
