Do you mean you want it to capture photos during the transitions between the segments?

Sorry for my english. I mean I want it to capture photos only in the segments and not in the rotations between the segments. The problem is that when the drone is rotating along the z axis the nadiral photos are bad. If there is a possibility to disable photos during rotations I don't have to delete it manually on the pc (in post processing).

Can you share a mission so that we can see exactly what is happening

As Martin stated, we need to see your plan. If set up properly it should only be shooting photos on each leg.

Sorry, I don't know how to share. My missions are public, my nickname is JJ, my e-mail is danilo.mnoll@gmail.com and I have only one repository with 36 missions that have the same problem. These are all map plans. Thank You all for the replies.

When I run the mission I can see that the drone shot some photos during rotation between straight segments. And I have the confirm of that when I see all the photos from the flash card on my computer.

Obviously I have to see all the photos shoted in a single map plan, and manually delete the "rotated photos" one by one, before to import all the photos in a Structure From Motion software. And this is a BIG work.

Is the minimum time interval between photos 1,3 sec too low? Pheraps is that the problem ?

The Mini 2 can’t capture faster than 2 seconds.

I am shooting in Jpeg+Raw, is the minimum interval 2 sec?

Yes, 2 seconds is the fastest, personally when mapping i only shoot jpeg with my mini2

It depends on the speed of the SD card, but most likely you will not even be able to get 2s with JPEG+RAW. You will need to do some testing to determine the actual limit for your drone + SD card combo.

Martin my workflow is: mapping in Jpeg+Raw (because the mini 2 doesn't shot only in Raw) , delete manually bad photos, delete all the Jpegs, Edit Raw files in lightroom, export in Jpeg at 100%, create a new chunk in Metashape with all the exported Jpegs. I use to map with distance priority, 90% of overlap (minimum 80%), single photos, grid pattern, Gimbal pitch -90 degrees, altitude 30 m if it's possible, and max speed of 10 km/h (that I can increment with higher altitude). It takes a lot of time, that's the reason why I choose 1,3 sec of interval but now I know I have to choose minimum 2 sec ( thank's to all of you). Than, I shoot manually some 45 degrees photos and if I have to do facecades I shot it manually. I use 5 batteries with a non original charger that charge 4 batteries contemporary. The microsd is a Class A 10 u1 with 128 gb of memory.

Never increase speed over 20 km/h with a mini 2 or you have to map with manually set up your gimbal at -90 degrees before the end and the start of every straight line. Because the mini 2 lose the gimbal set up on every "strong brake" and on every "strong acceleration".

We will be pushing out a kernel update soon to prevent captures from stacking up on base legs and at the end of maps.
