Resume mission next day

Paulo Pereira

Hi,

I have a big map. I only have 3 batteries.

How can I resume my plan on next day?

Thanks in advance,

Paulo

You may get a more detailed answer, but this is really easy, it's almost automatic. Once you "pause" the mission, or RTH on your last battery, you can land the drone. Next time you open the same mission up it will ask if you want to resume it, whether it is the next day or next week. Actually if you do *not* want to resume, you need to select "abort" to start the same mission over again from the beginning. You could try on a small test mission just to see how it works since you have a rather large one, might be worth the test.

Just be aware that your stitching software may have a hard time if you mix photos from different days.  The different light/shadows etc. can confuse it.  If you're lucky you will get away with it but most companies will not accept an ortho spread across multiple days.

One option if that happens is to process each day separately and then join the two (or more) large images together.

I tried using 2 sets of photos taken on different days once, this was the result
