An additional note: 3df Zephyr has a free version of the software here: https://www.3dflow.net/3df-zephyr-free/ It is limited to 50 images. Their product will also read video files directly.

If the desired end is a composite image I use ICE and yes I capture with a mavic mini.

I also have a mini and use ICE most of the time for creating the composite images. I've never had a problem. Post some examples perhaps.

The data is processed with a photogrammetry application to produce a 3d model of the topography. I used it to improve drainage on my property. There are many photogrammetry applications and services.
