Mike, yes this is a device specific issue with the DJI Smart Controller. It worked a few versions ago with no issues, the map stopped working 2 or 3 updates ago.

I tried resetting the app by clearing all data and still the same issue persists.

Yes the DJI RC is connected to WiFi and all Dronelink permissions, including location, are granted.
