New interface and camera settings

Mike Liggett

Hi, with the new interface, I am trying to figure out how I can manipulate the camera settings. I am only seeing the handful of commands to take photo/video while moving or full stop.  Is this possibly a function that got elevated to a higher subscription?

If so, in the current options, will the photo honor the camera settings set in the DJI go app prior to the flight?

Thanks,

Mike

Only thing I can think of is you need to click on the little camera icon in bottom right corner of the Native app. All the camera settings for photos and video are there. Also the settings in the DJI App do stick across apps so whatever was set in DJI app will be what DL will uses unless changed manually or by automated commands in the plan. Hope this is what you were looking for.

We are planning to add more settings to the modern dashboard over time.

If the current settings are not enough, you can switch back to the classic dashboard, or use DJI's apps.

Hi- Sorry I should have been more clear with my question.  The settings I am talking about are in the mission planning interface on the web browser.  The new functionality does not allow me to change the camera settings like it previously did.  I am only seeing options to take a photo or video or automatic capture.  Beyond that, I am not seeing any other way to further change/control camera settings such as mode, shutter speed, white balance, metering, etc....

    Thanks, Mike

    1. Are you in expert mode?  If not, turn that on using the hamburger menu
    2. Most of the commands you are referring to would be added as path actions.  You should be able to find them there under components.  When you click on components you can search for what you want to add

Ah, that was it.  Thanks for tip!  Just a general observation with this newer interface, seems like it takes multiple clicks to eventually get to the advanced camera settings.  Any plans on streamlining/simplifying this?

    Thanks,Mike

Mike Liggett, commands like that you use regularly stick them in a list which you can then save in a repository, or copy it to the clipboard, either way bit's there within a couple of clicks

    Just use search?
