Orbit only taking 2 pictures instead of 12
Hello,
I flew my 1st orbit yesterday and instad of taking the estimated 25 pictures it only took 2. One of them was at the start, and one was near the end.
I am using automatic capture, and by looking at the timeline, it might be an interval setting (which I don't think I can change on an orbit)
I did try to recreate the project thinking it was human error but the same thing occurred.

Thanks in advance for the help. :)

Well looking at that it says it should take 14 according to the preview, what drone are you flying, what device are you running Dronelink on, asnd what are the details of the sd card you're using?
Hi Martin, All good questions:
1. DJI Air2S
2. Dronelink on Samsung s8, but also tried on Samsun S22+
3. SD card is SanDisk Extreme Pro (Red/Black). 64 GB
Ok Mark Shelhart, another question, is the A2S firmware up to date
It is. I was one rev behind but flashed that yesterday before my second attempt.
Using automatic capture just starts the camera in interval photo mode. The preview assumes 2 seconds, but it will use whatever your drone is currently set to in the real world. If you want to control this behavior you need to add commands before the orbit to setup your camera.
That makes TOTAL sense thank you! I had flown a mapping mission just prior so I assumed it dynamically chose camera timing in the same way. I will simply add my camera positions manually to my orbit.
Thank you Jim.

Hi Mark. Just another piece of info to remember. When setting the camera at beginning of plan the intervals can only be what the drone is capable of performing. So the A2S interval needs to be set to one of the following. Timed: 2/3/5/7/10/15/20/30/60s. If you set to any other interval the drone doesn’t support the mission may fail or as I have noticed, it worked but used the last interval setting which was set either in the DJI Fly app or DL. The shutter button should indicate what the interval is set to while running the plan. So for example if you set to 4 secs it won’t work at that interval. Hope this helps.
