First successful mission on (217) using the EvoIIPro today. The flight was without any out-of-norm issues. The only observation between (216) and (217) was I didn't find a way to have the drone continue the mission when the RC is disconnected. Is this a consequence of (217)? I recall (216) had this feature where the drone will continue the mission when the RC is disconnected, and it was pretty easy to find that option. Perhaps I am just missing where that option is in (217)?
Scenarios tested:
1. Mission start from ground zero without a glitch (like in (216) when it failed the point A to B handoff.
2. Multi-batter flight, with go-home to refill.
3. Mission resume from a new location. I noticed that a mission resumed updates the home point to the new mission start location. Can we have the option to retain the mission's original home point as well as set the new takeoff point as home point/Starpoint?
4. Feature request: Can we on the Mission Estimate screen set the drone type to be used and update the estimate accordingly? It will be nice for that dialogue to have a place to input the wind speed and wind direction as well as the drone to get an estimate that's workable. I know these are in deep in the Mission Preview, and i noticed the numbers are pretty much similar.
Autel only works with virtual stick at this time. Uploading waypoints has only been available with older DJI drones.
You can submit feature requests here. Please one per thread.
Thank for the quick update, Jim McAndrew. I think the Autel Explorer App having that ability to continue the mission for the EvoII Pro should be something to consider in Dronelink. I'll add the feature request.
Another Feature missing in the beta now is flight logs are not showing in my Airdata account. For the device that is still using the production version of Dronelink, the logs are updated to Airdata seamlessly.
My airdata logs are updating just fine with the beta
Martin Reading with Autel or DJI? I'll try on a DJI to see. Is there a way to force an update on the app? Perhaps a feature?
That's with DJI, are you using the same account
Dronelink doesn’t support uploading flight logs with Autel.
