Welcome!
There's a lot to DL so take your time.
There are plenty of helpful people both here, and on the official Facebook page, which you can find here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2407615826214037
Also check out the tutorials on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/Dronelink/playlists
and my "Five Minute Friday" videos, which you can find here: https://vimeo.com/showcase/8938995
Welcome Mike Bahr, I'm another convertee from Litchi
Thank you, Martin Reading. It's a night and day difference of approach between the products and the organization of the developers.
Thanks for the support Mike Bahr. What finally convinced you to switch?
I don't know you, so am guessing at your personality, but there seems to be an organized way of thinking that comes through in the the app - Litchi feels to me: "it's Tuesday, so do it this way, unless you are left-handed and then you have to remember this special thing and do this, first" It's very discouraging for a new drone pilot trying to assimilate a lot at once.
There is certainly a lot more to learn with DL, but I sense a deeper commitment to consistency and approach that will eventually accelerate adoption by new users. At least that is what I hope will happen (for me)!
I certainly appreciate the modularity and the mature and capable user interface, too. For instance, virtual flights with the ability to expose waypoint data is already helping me learn.
I look forward to becoming an avid user...
-Mike
