Barry Houldsworth Dronelink Expert Dronelink Expert

Today's Five Minute Friday coves how to convert your manual flights - including flights that were not performed using Dronelink - into reusable missions.

Here's a link to the video:  https://vimeo.com/727001901

I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback.

Hey Barry Houldsworth, you must be psychic mate, I did this earlier on as I've got a mission I'm planning around a local landmark, I've been up there several times trying to work out a couple of crucial bits of information, the main one being the height of the center line of this ball and how close i can safely get to it, as want to fly an orbit around it, and then climb to a safe height above it and using the rotation component shoot a 360 deg video.

Using this method on this afternoons flight, in conjunction with checking a few things on the ground, has just about answered my questions

    LOL. Yes, I'm watching you.

Next 5MF is about safe flights in new locations, so that might help too 😀

This particular site is one where you have to keep eyes and ears open, as it's only about half a mile past the end of the runway safe zone of the local air park.

About a fortnight from now I shall hopefully be flying a new site, and flying across the Atlantic with my mini2 ;)

    keep the 5MF's coming

    Sounds like fun.

The next 5MF might take a little while - I'm currently halfway across the country doing jobs in Colorado (wedding and drone/ground shoot) plus consulting work in Kansas on the way back.  But, once I get a bit of free time I'll start on the next one.

If you have thoughts on any subject you would like covered, feel free to put in a request.
