First time fly
Thinking of buying and using only dronelink on a dji mini se. The question...do ifirst have to install dji fly app to activate the drone...or can i without activating via dji fly app start flying with dronelink ?

You have to activate the drone via the DJI fly app, which you'll also have to use to keep all the firmware (Drone, controller & batteries) up to date
