Five Minute Friday tutorial - Naming mission elements and reducing mission runtimes
Are your missions getting confusing to edit because all the elements just say "waypoint"?
Here's a quick tutorial on how to keep things organized and reduce mission run times at the same time.
Enjoy!

Nice one Barry Houldsworth, I've done something very similar with 4 facades round a local windmill, in that the 2nd and 4th facades start at the topand go back down to the bottom horizontally, and consequently the 3rd one starts at the bottom and works up
Thanks, Martin Reading
Thinking about the order the different components are run is super important when you are trying to maximize battery use.
Battery swaps on-site can add a LOT of time, particularly on larger sites. It's not just the time spent swapping and restarting - there's all the time (and battery) wasted going back and forth to where it left off.
Not everyone thinks about it - but I'm always looking for ways to shave a minute or two if I can.
Totally agree Barry Houldsworth, when flying a mission I know is going to need more than one battery, i'm keeping my eye on the mission time remaining, battery time remaining (rather tan percentage) and drone position on the map, so that i can get as much out of a battery (safely), but have it as close to the home point as possible when i call it back for the change
First thing : thank you tor the video.
I learn that we can rename each compo. Good point.
For the optimization, maybe DL team could develop a new function for that.
Can't wait for next "5MF".
