Autel EVO iOS Beta First Mission
I am admittable new to DL and am just starting to test the iOS beta on a Autel EVO II Pro.
Yesterday I attempted to run, what I thought was, a simple waypoint mission.
My EVO basically did nothing. The app ran and I was connected with video.
EVO didn't climb to set altitude or fly to any waypoints. It did yaw a bit but just hovered.
I am sharing (hopefully) my plan to see if anyone knows what I am doing wrong or missing.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

After loading the mission, did you hit the play button, in the app?
YES, ran but nothing happened. In fact I ran it numerous times.
Landed, closed & reloaded DL, same results.
I just ran this mission without any issues. Do you happen to have novice mode enabled in Autel Explorer?
Thanks Jim for jumping in on this.
No novice mode, BUT Autel Explorer not loaded on ipad only DL!
Does Explorer need to be loaded in conjunction with DL (if so most likely the problem).
I don't think it needs to be on there, but it might be worth opening it to see if there are any errors reported that DL doesn't see.
Also, assuming you have latest firmware?
Mission runs (previews) just fine on my laptop & tablet.
I did get a warning of unable to run mission, could not reach ???
Will try to get a screenshot next attempt.
UPDATE Jim McAndrew
Loaded a new waypoint mission using the generic templet provided by DL, and just placed it in my area, with no alterations.
I got the same results as prior attempts! Autel EVO II Pro just hovered.
Got a countdown & running mission message.

As stated above I did get a screenshot of the warning I have seen on every attempt to run either mission.
Link is screenshot of DL Message, Never have good luck with posting a photo on forums.
I was hoping that someone would have a suggestion or a solution.
Tried to run again today, same results.
Is anyone running Autel EVO with iOS? If so sure would like to communicate with them.

I don’t have an Autel EVO but Since Jim said it worked for him I don’t think my suggestion will help. However, I checked and noticed you changed the motion tolerance to 20’ distance and 10’ altitude. Not sure how accurate the Evo’s system is but maybe try changing back to the default 75’ and 25’. Even though it worked for Jim with that tight of tolerance may be something to try. In general all those default settings in DL should work and don’t need to be changed. Unless you specifically know how any of those changes will effect the aircrafts flight its best to not change the mass majority of them at least until you know how they effect the flight. As I stated it may not be the issue but can’t hurt to try. Did you try installing the Autel Explorer app on the device and check to see if any issues ?
I think Eric Goldstein is going to try it in a few days.
Thanks Mike for the comment / suggestion, I had forgotten I'd made that change.
Have set it back to default and will test again tomorrow.
Thanks Jim for the member reference, looking forward to conversing with Eric soon.
Can’t hurt to try Dave. Expect the worse and Hope for the best 🤙🏼 Good luck. I’m sure it will get figured out eventually.

UPDATE 7/10/22 AUTEL EVO II PRO & IPAD
Flew in a different area this morning, ran two test flights. Both 3 waypoints basic default DL templet. One 80' & other 100' AGL. Short update is neither one ran.
Longer answer is I truly think the EVO tried, there was some movement but VERY slow. I attempted changing the speed from default 10 MPH to 15 and then 22 MPH. I think it moved a bit more but just nothing like it should have.
All attempts timed out "Unable To Reach Checkpoint".
