Google earth used to automatically start
Google earth used to start when export was selected in dronelink preview window. It doesn't work in new version of DL, would appreciate any suggestions. It exports to desktop but doesn't automatically start GE. Thanks

Exporting directly to GE here no problems, what is your PC set up
I believe he is saying it used to open in Google Earth automatically once downloaded. It may be in Google Earth or possibly in the Browser settings but not sure. It has has never open automatically on my PC. I Use Firefox browser and it list it at top of bar. I just select and open it.
Yeah I get asked if I want to open in Google earth (default), or save the file, and just click ok as open in Google earth is already selected
Mike's right Martin, it used to just open on it's own. Mike now I get the same thing you do. Haven't really changed anything but DL version and maybe Firefox update, not sure.I'll play around and post anything useful I find. Sometimes stuff happens!

Bingo! There is a setting in firefox, "how firefox handles file downloads" KMZ was set to save. Changed to Google Earth and we're back in business. Must've been firefox update, I hate that I can't stop them.

Just had to change to firefox from waterfox on my desktop, and yes now auto opens in GE
