interval photos map in preview
In my plan I have a map and some orbits. I set the photo interval to 2 seconds
In the preview it looks like the number of photos taken while mapping are less than when flying an orbit.
What am I doing wrong ?
I shared my plan : https://app.dronelink.com/smooth/my-first-project/plan/HenJa6AcvjJbrd0TMHrU/yjVBL7vPRGXPI0XfGhgb

It appears that your map is so high for such a small boundary that it only has one segment. Aslo, there is no need to start the interval photos with a command before the map because the map will do that automatically. You can check all of this by using the Mission Preview.
the mapping lasts about 65 seconds when i understand the timeline. then I expect about 30 photos to be taken, whether it makes sense or not. or is that a strange thought.?
If you run the mission preview, you will see that at least half of the "time" for the map component is just flying to the start of the map. It appears there may be an issue with the map having a single segment, but again, you either need to increase the overlap or lower the altitude to get more segments.
Thank you Jim for your quick respond. It is not a big deal but I like to understand how things work.
For now I understand that the number of pictures taken is controlled by the number of segments, despite the interval settings.
