Mavic mini with sport Mode

Antony Kuo

I was out flying today and I could not find away to switch from p-mode into sport mode except to go to DJI fly app then switch back. Is it a feature that I just don't know how to use it or is it not supported? Thank you!

Since the MM doesn’t have a speed mode selector switch on controller yes, you will need to go into the DJI app to switch. If your wanting to fly manually with DL you can but better to just close DL and switch to DJI app.

Will the option be added in the future? Or is there no plans of it.

I don’t speak for DL but It’s already on the DL Trello Board. The issue is there are so many things which are priorities it may be a long time. Since the speed mode should be in normal mode as DL states it’s really not needed unless you want to fly manually which is not what the app is really intended for. As stated it’s just better to switch and use the DJI App. Other drones have the switch on the controller so not many user would need it. I’m just Curious what your purpose is for needing it in the DL app ? Enjoy Antony….

My main use of sport mode is to make the drone get to the destination and to ascend quickly as well as to have some fun.

When using DL for automated flights the speed mode needs to be in Normal as stated earlier. Good luck.
