mission time limit for dji mini 2
I'm running a mission with a half dozen waypoints, 8 or 9 markers. the entire mission runs for approx 5 minutes and 35 seconds. when I fly the mission with the dji mini 2 is stops the mission at 4:25, every time. when I fly it with my Air 2s it completes entire mission without fail. I have 60% battery life when the mission stops with the mini 2. Is there a max time limit on the mini 2?

No time limits other then needing to have enough batteries to keep going. Share the plan please.
I think my longest mission so far is about 11 minutes with the mini 2, so yeah share the mission and let's take a look
Time duration wasn't the problem. I had max speed set higher than the mini 2 can fly. When it reached that part of the mission it failed. The air 2S was able to fly that fast and continued to completion.
You asked if there was a time limit so we answered no. As far as the speed, if set too fast especially if set to max speed 33 mph you may have an issue. Especially when using a Mini which is far less powerful then the MA2/ A2S. I guessing the error was “off-course.” which is common. If it can’t get up to speed on the path especially if against any winds it will more then likely fail. My The max speed I run with my MA2 is about 18 to 22 mph. No reason to set too fast. The Mini’s struggle to keep up speed along a path and fall behind where it should be so it errors off-course. Slow down the max speed and issue is solved. There are settings in the app they may cause issues depending on the drone. Hope this helps and Good luck.
