Can you try another device. This will eliminate the possibility of your Samsung S23FE being the issue which is usually the reason. Not all devices will work well for many reasons.
I'll try to use my Galaxy Tab S7 FE, as soon as possible.
What version?
I'm using the latest version 5.3.4 (2323) kernel 5.3.1; The thing is, I didn't have any issues before—the app only started freezing recently. The drone works perfectly in DJI Fly; I'm only experiencing these problems in Drone Link. Is there a way to roll back the update?
I don’t think using an older device like the Tab 7S FE will help as it is about 5 years old which is even older the your other device. Some older devices may work but the Dronelink app requirements are indicated in their support section. A drone released in the last year or two is best as indicated in the first FAQ in the support section.

The problem is, I didn’t notice these freezes on my phone before, it only started happening now.
So I’d like to know if there’s any update I can roll back to.
In general Dronelink doesn’t want pilots to go back to an older version. The reason is because they prefer to look into the issue to see if it is their software and resolve the problem. If you give Dronelink your model drone and share your plan they may be able to run your mission to see if they have any lagging issues.
One suggestion since you said it worked ok before is to go into the S23FE settings and check under apps to see how many apps are still running in the background. If there are many other apps still running in the background I suggest Force closing all of them. Apps like Edge, Chrome, Firefox or any other browser. Also any apps like games, email, music, video or any which aren’t needed to be open and running in the background and serve no purpose. Any apps which are running in the background could be using up resources, (processing power) which can affect the performance of the device. Also once they are Force closed I suggest Disabling them so they don’t startup automatically when the device is powered on. Otherwise they will startup every time and run in the background again and could be using resources. Disabling them on startup does not delete them or affect the apps in any way. This may or may not help but I’m sure DL staff will look into this to make sure it’s not something with their software. They have great support. Hope this helps. Enjoy.
Can you try the latest 5.3.5 beta (build 325) and see if it fixes the issue?
