Mission running too slow
Hi
I am just getting started with Dronelink. I've created a mission and set the max speed to 25mph. When it runs it seems to slow down when it gets to the first waypoint. How can I make the drone fly at the same speed throughout the mission?
Thanks

Please share your mission plan.
Hi Jim, here you go: https://app.dronelink.com/keith-logan/dunbar-gc-flyovers-2022/plan/TwO8VfMOVCy2fyvhKk3I
Keith Logan, you need to put it in a public repository. it's just coming up as unable to view at the minute
Hi Martin Reading sorry, done that now: https://app.dronelink.com/keith-logan/mission-speed-test/plan/ForDzrHanE3fGLAX3fUK
Do this:
When you have the interpolation set to linear, it creates an "elbow" in the flight path that forces the kinematic model to slow down the forward motion to make the abrupt change.
Also the speed you set is the “max” speed it can do at best. It will always slow down when going around curves and before next component. It’s designed to slow down for a smooth transition to next component. You can see the speed in the mission preview. It will never run at max speed throughout the entire plan.

It is the feature of Dronklink.
The h-speed is always 0 when the aircraft reaches the approach point.
Not only so, it will slow down the h-speed in many other situations.
Due to physics, this is normal. It is not possible to maintain the same speed throughout the whole mission.
Here is a sample plan:

Thanks for all your help guys. I just felt the drone was taking ages to fly down the golf hole which made it appear to drag.
I know I could speed up in post-production but if you have people waking etc they then look sped up!
Cheers

Thanks, Ray Kao Jim's adjustment really helps. Cheers
