New User -Mini2
Hi just thought I'd introduce myself, I'm Martin, I'm 63 and fly a mini2 just as a hobbyist and decided to add dronelink to my list of apps for flying with.
I've been having a read around the forum and been watching the videos on YouTube and picked up a few handy tips already, I've not had a chance to actually fly since getting Dronelink, but have created a few simple missions as experiments to try down my local field

Welcome!
It is an amazing piece of software but there is a lot to it. Just take things step by step and, if you get stuck, you can always post a link to the mission you are having trouble with and people here will help out - it's a friendly bunch.
Great! You should have a lot of fun flying around with Dronelink! As you have seen there is a pretty active community here so if you have questions when you start flying come on back!

Cheers for the warm welcome guys
Hey Martin, welcome aboard. DL has amazing support to include many other actual pilots who use it regularly and can help you. There is someone on this very active forum everyday to assist. Sounds like you found the DL YouTube videos. I’ll include a link which has about 50 of those tutorial videos and a Quick Start series link which may help also.
Good luck, Enjoy….

Cheers Mike, think I'm up to about P3E20, I believe in doing research before i start using something
You are among the few who do. Lol. 🤙🏼
Been watching a few of them again, need to get out with the drone and try a few things before starting to start asking questions lol
I understand. When I first started over a year ago I watched many of the videos over and over. I’d go into a plan and try different components to see how they worked. The mission preview will show the flight path, Cameras view, Gimbal pitch, heading, altitude, POI’s etc. Several experienced pilots here who can help you. I’m still learning stuff and I’ve been flying a ton of missions for over a year. Good luck….
