How to take manual panoramas DJI Air 3

Hi all,

I'm new to Dronelink so would really appreciate a bit of help.

I have a site to survey, with 6 co-ordinate points - requiring 360 panoramas at each. It's a windy exposed site on a Scottish island. The Air 3 copes well, except for the fact that the in-built 'panorama mode' does tend to fail in windy conditions. The images are going to be put into separate mapping software, so I don't need them stitched.

Is there a way to program the drone to take these mapping shots? I've tried to do the research, but with it being a different method for the Air 3, I'm getting quickly lost.

Finally, I'm pretty tight for time, are there people who will set these kind of flight plans up for a small fee? Life and work is pretty busy right now! Admins please delete that bit if not allowed?

If you look through the DL support section there is a ton of information o. Just about everything the DL app offers.

Thanks Mike, I might be reading it incorrectly, but I didn't think that worked with the Air 3 as it's Onboard Waypoints only? If it does, then I'll give it a try again.

Yes, DJI onboard waypoints conversion which can be flown with the DJI Fly app. However, I forgot that the Pano will not work. Sorry, My mistake.

I haven’t tried with my Air 3 but if you set up a DL plan and then convert and export the KMZ you can modify the plan in the Fly app. If you set the camera first to Pano mode it may work that way. It should be no different then setting up a single photo capture or photo intervals. As long as the proper camera function is selected I believe it will work to trigger the capture. I may try later to see if it works. Also, when using any app the wind will affect the drone the same so I don’t think using any app will make a difference other than automation.
