The Pano mission component automatically captures a series of photos at a location to be used with other software for stitching. There are 2 pano patterns:
- Spherical (360): Takes 27 photos
- Horizontal (180): Takes 5 photos with a 0 degree gimbal pitch only
Step 1 - Add Pano from 'Create Menu'
Add a Pano from the Create menu. Will create a new mission plan with 1 Spherical (360) pano at 30m (100ft).
Step 1.1 - Add Pano from 'Add Menu'
In an existing plan, add a pano from the 'Add Menu'. Right click / long press on the map, or Select Add and pick a location on the map.
Default settings are Spherical (360) at 30m (100ft).
Step 2 - Change Basic Settings (Altitude, Pattern)
Click on the Pano to adjust basic settings, including altitude and pattern type.
Step 3 - Change Advanced Settings (Photo Type, Heading (Center))
Expand the advanced settings to change the Photo Type and Heading.
Photo Type
Choose between various photo types (not all photo types are supported by all drones).
Heading (Center)
Set the center of the pano, either by specifying the heading relative to north, or adding a POI.
The center of the pano will face the set heading and a full frame photo will face this heading, making sure to prevent any stitching lines facing the POI.
