Dronelink support for DJI Mini 4 Pro firmware 01.00.1100
Hi, the aircraft firmware on my company's DJI Mini 4 Pro was updated to 01.00.1100 and Dronelink can't connect anymore. I couldn't find on the Dronelink site, but is there a way to see which firmware versions Dronelink is compatible with for a specific drone? Also, when DJI releases a new firmware, how long does Dronelink typically take to release a compatible version? For context, I'm using DJI Mini 4 Pro 01.00.1100 with RC-N3 01.01.0300.
Thanks for any info!

The DJI Firmware updates usually don’t affect the DL app. Unless there is a SDK update and a newer firmware is required for if to work properly it won’t affect the app. Even then it should always still connect. If it’s not connecting then check the DL support article.

About 90% of time it’s due to the DJI Fly app not being force stopped. With Android you must go into the devices settings every time and force stop any third party app which was previously opened. Swiping up will not work.
I'm doing the force stop and it still wasn't working. I connected to the drone a few days ago so the process is fresh but still wasn't working. The only thing I can think of that changed is the firmware updated today. After that, I couldn't connect DL to the Mini 4 Pro. I'll give it another shot tomorrow but I'm skeptical it will work.
I’ve been using DL for over 5 years and DJI Firmware updates won’t keep it from connecting. As I mentioned before unless the SDK has been updated and a new firmware is required then it doesn’t matter. Even then it should still connect. According to the DL release notes the SDK hasn’t been updated since 12/11/2025. Since you are the only one reporting a connection problem there must be something on your end. No third party app can be running in the background so if you use any other third party app which connects to the drone they all must be force closed in the device settings. Also you can select in the devices settings to not have any app start up when you power on the drone. This way you will be sure no other app is trying to connect automatically when powering up the drone. Also make sure app permissions are granted which I believe there are 11 of them which must be granted.
Even If a DL update was required for a specific firmware update then DL staff implements it immediately. I doubt that has anything to do with your connection issue. One thing to try as mentioned in the support article is if the “drone not connecting” message is appearing so there is not live camera feed is to just unplug the cable from device and plug back in. I need to do this with my iPad and MA2.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for all the info. I thought I was doing everything correctly but I must've made a mistake along the way. I'll go try again and I'm sure I'll figure it out.
Appreciate it.
Sometimes it’s the simple things we miss. Good luck & enjoy.
