Where are flight logs?
Hello Jim,
After reading the FAQ, I went looking for the flight logs, but don't see any folder for Dronelink on my Android device running Android 11 (Samsung Galaxy A71 5G SM-A716U)

Airdata.
Samsung A51 phone, Android 11
Android/Data/com.droneline.dronelink/files/DJI/com.dronelink.dronelink/flightrecord
Using the phone file system manager the data folder is empty, so use file manager on your connected computer to see the folders and files.
Thanks David, that helped tremendously. Hopefully these will satisfy RealityCapture - fingers crossed!
You can use Airdata or Drone LogBook flight integration which is really nice to keep the flight records. It will keep all flights flown including DJI and DL. Free with limited use but you can purchase a package if you need it.
Thank you for the reply Mike!
🤙🏼😃 Airdata is a far better and fantastic app in my opinion. I’ve tried both and prefer it over Drone LogBook.
Thank you Mike for that feedback on Airdata. I've been using it for a while and I'm impressed with the scope and breadth of the data that it's able to scrape from each flight. However, I'm not sure I have everything configured properly, or maybe it's unavailable on the free account that they offer. From my limited examinations of the app so far, it seems to not display any of the Dronelink flight paths, but does display yellow lines for all of the flight paths flown using DJI Fly. I definitely will need dig into this further!
Not sure why that would be for you - I use this all the time and it works for me. Here is an example:
Are you seeing the flight logs in Airdata that came from Dronelink?
In answer to your question, no, I don't believe so. The first photo from the most recent mapping mission was at 15:41:01, the last photo was tagged at 15:45:13 followed by an automated return to home. The Airdata overview data doesn't reflect any of the Dronelink time:
Do you ever do any mapping missions?
Before I flew the Dronelink mapping mission on 20220320, I did a few preliminary tests using DJI Fly, followed by a Dronelink test mapping mission over our house. I've flown this same area for multiple mapping tests more times than I can recall and not once does the Dronelink mapping mission get reflected by the Airdata data. After the mission ended, I exited the Dronelink app, and went back up using the DJI Fly app for some other tests with the camera.
Sunday's Airdata shows this:
And this is the flight path of the actual mapping mission from the Dronelink app:
I'm new to all of this stuff and expect I'm to blame somehow, just haven't figured out what I've done wrong.
One worry I have is maybe my command list is causing the problem?
How are you getting your DL flight record to AirData--automatic or manual upload. I always manually upload all flight records to AirData. The DL .txt files work just as well as the DJI records.
Did you add airdata into the integrations section in the DL web app?
Great question and I really am not sure. On the Airdata app (v2.0.73),Settings, Auto Sync is enabled, and Days to Sync is set to ALL.
On the Dronelink phone app (v3.3.0(185)) I haven't found any means of linking Dronelink to Airdata
On the Dronelink webpage app (v3.3.1) after clicking and staring, this was the only thing I saw, but it didn't seem like Airdata would need to be added as a feature request ?
Sorry, I didn't see this earlier Barry, but where is the integrations section in the DL web app?
Never mind, I think I just found it. Sorry to have bothered y'all.
No worries. There's a HUGE amount of functionality but, along with that, comes a certain amount of complexity.
If you have trouble once you have added it to the integrations let us know.
Thank you everybody that kindly replied!
In case anybody else comes looking, here's what I did:
Established the Airdata account first, and then under Users/Pilots, copied the Auto Upload Token to the clipboard
From the Dronelink webpage Account Settings, the Integrations icon can be found
Click on it and then paste in the Airdata Auto Upload token
After waiting several minutes and hitting refresh on the browser (Firefox), only the (2) Dronelink mapping missions that were flown on 17 March are reflected in the Airdata data - not sure why.
Try closing the app and restarting it on the tablet you ran the missions - sometimes that causes it to refresh.
Thanks Barry!
These Dronelink mapping mission tests above our house have been basically revising the previous test after discovery that certain camera commands fail, or in trying out different flight path directions. Would subsequent flight path versionings prevent their subsequent flown flight paths from being integrated with Airdata?
Thanks again Barry, you've been a great help!
I think that I closed the Dronelink (phone) app too soon. Apparently the Android app needs to be running as after your suggestion, and reopening the app, the balance of the Dronelink flight paths were received by Airdata and then reloaded!
Good to hear!
